THE PENWA NAME:
The name of our company is PENWA. Our brands Tombow and Itoya are Japanese companies and world leaders in pens, pencils and office products. Although the Japanese word for pen is actually "pen", when it is used as the subject in a sentence the qualifier "wa" is added. So "Where is the pen?" translates to "Penwa doko desu ka?". Viola! PENWA is japanese for PEN.
In addition, Tombow is Japanese for dragonfly. The "W" in the Tombow logo is actually one half of the wings of a dragonfly. The dragonfly is active as a part of the Tombow logo.
PENWA.com is the FIRST US reseller in servicd since May of 1995 and we operated as TOMBOW.com until 1998.

We will match any price you find on the web today as well as within 30 days of your purchase. Please provide the web page URL, item, and specified shipping charges so that we can calculate the actual price to match. Upon successful verification, we will refund 110% of the difference in your purchase price from PENWA.com and the competitor price with shipping. We will provide a refund directly to your credit card or PayPal (not a store credit as some competitors will.) Item must be identical and new. We cannot match prices found on eBay.

Due to a US Supreme Court Ruling in 2007 (Leegins vs PKSK), manufacturers are now permitted to dictate a minimum selling price policy [MAP] for their products. As an Authorized Dealer, we must honor these policies and this currently limits us on discounting most Parker and Waterman pens and all Fisher Space Pens.

We do not send spam and we do not purchase email lists. Every email we send is an opt-in customer email. We will not sell, trade, or in any way allow any other company to receive your email address. Your email address is simply a way for us to provide a better shopping experience to the customers we do business with. When you provide a valid email address to us at the time of the sale or when signing up for our optional mailing list it allows us to keep you updated on your order status, problems with your order, or contacting you for more information as it relates to your order. PENWA SHIPPING POLICY:
We will ship your order placed by 3:00pm ET Monday through Friday on the same day via the carrier you select. Some non-pen products may ship directly from the manufacturer. Most products shipped from the manufacturer will also ship same day. A product name beginning in DS is an indication that the item will be Drop Shipped from the manufacturer. Despite our best efforts, occasionally these items may not ship the same day.

PENWA WARRANTY INFORMATION:
PENWA.com maintains a 1 year Warranty for every fine pen we sell. If any fine writing instrument develops a defect due to material or workmanship within one year of purchase, we will replace the defective pen returned to us with a new pen for a $20.00 USD fee to cover administrative costs to process the return of the defective item back to the manufacturer. The warranty fee does not include shipping of new pen to the customer.
